Powder-Coated Doors and Drawer Fronts

WorkSpace Garage Cabinets were designed specifically for the garage environment. Our process of powder coating wood provides the door and drawer fronts of your new cabinets with a layer of protection from temperature and humidity extremes typical to most garages.

Powder-coated doors and drawer fronts

We powder coat all cabinet doors and drawer fronts, creating a seamless powder coating finish that is superior to plastic, paint or laminate, and resists chipping, denting, peeling or warping, making it perfect for the typical garage environment. And with five great color choices, they look great in any garage, and they’ll stay that way!

We start with medium density MDF board for doors, drawer fronts and panels because of its strength and smooth, uniform surface. All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, sprayed with an electrostatic charged powdered mixture and then heated, causing the powder to gel and flow, bonding to the surface and completely sealing the piece. The resulting powder-coated finish is as attractive as it is durable.

And the process is environmentally friendly, containing no heavy metals, solvents or VOCs.

Not all powder coating is created equal!

Be careful of the claims of others that theirs is the best, or theirs was the first. Truth is, there is a big difference in quality and consistency.

Our parent company, Greenberg Custom Cabinets, was the first garage cabinet manufacturer to introduce powder-coated wood cabinets to the market. Unlike others, we do all our powder coating in-house. This gives us a great deal of control over the quality, consistency and delivery of the final product. Finally, all of your doors and drawers will be powder coated in the same batch, ensuring everything is always a perfect match.

Powder-coated surfaces will not stain, are impervious to almost all household chemicals, and the colors will not fade over time. Keeping them looking factory-new is as simple as wiping them with soap and warm water.
