Powder-coated surfaces will not stain, are impervious to almost all household chemicals, and the colors will not fade over time.
We offer 12 great powder coat color choices that will look great in any garage. And the powder-coated finish will continue to look as good as the day you installed your new garage cabinets. Simply cleaning them with soap and warm water will keep them looking factory new for many years!
Why use powder coating on doors and drawer fronts?
Powder coating is one the longest lasting finishes available, but until the last few years powder coating was used only on metal parts. But metal is heavy, industrial looking, and expensive for home use.
We have perfected a process of applying powder coating on HDF (high density fiberboard) that is as durable as metal, is less expensive and is perfect for home use. As a matter of fact, our unique process has been patented!
The result is parts that are just as durable as a metal ones, but without the high price or weight, and look better!

Greenberg Casework Company, our parent company, was the first garage cabinet manufacturer to introduce powder-coated wood cabinets to the market. Unlike other companies, we do all our powder coating in-house, giving us a great deal of control over the quality, consistency and delivery of the final product. Finally, all of your doors and drawers will be powder coated in the same batch, ensuring everything is always a perfect match.
Powder Coating Process
Powder coating is a dry finishing process that uses a mixture of pigment and resin. The mixture is electro-statically charged and sprayed on to the part (above), and heated in an oven (below). The powder gels and flows, bonding with the part and creating a seamless finish that is attractive, durable and is highly resistant to chemicals.
