Remodel of 1974 home in Swanville leads to surprise for homeowner - ECM Publishers
Diane Cornell of Swanville discovered an anomaly in her house where she has lived since 1974. The discovery was made by a contractor doing work on the home. Diane has lived alone in the house since her husband died. The anomaly was a false ceiling in the stairway. A contractor removed a brick chimney from her home due to disuse. The removal of the chimney allow easier access to the second floor and the use of additional space for storage like linens. The remodel was in preparation to sell if she decided to downsize.
- Diane Cornell of Swanville recently went to remodel their home only to find out that their ceiling had a false slant.
- After the remodel they were able to add a lot of additional space to the home so they wouldn’t have to duck while going upstairs.
- The entire house has way more space. It’s like living in an entirely new home after Contractor Doug Mrozek redid the ceiling and removed the chimney.
